Jess is an agriculture industry advocate with a strong rural upbringing from a family farm in Narrabri, NSW. Jess has been involved with research projects that deliver environmentally sustainable agriculture including projects to improve on-farm biosecurity measures for growers.
Jess was selected to be apart of the 2023 Future Cotton Leaders program with Cotton Australia.
Jess has also undertaken a number of significant advocacy roles such as being the face of the rural cotton story behind the 100% Cotton Womenswear Collection spring launch in collaboration with Cotton Australia and Jeanswest.
In her various roles, Jess has contributed to content on all platforms, coordinates multi-platform community initiatives with remote based teams, maintains the aesthetic and brand and performs in a variety of important support roles for all rural business activities.
Jess says she may be biased but agriculture is the best industry to work in and the more enthusiastic people we have in the industry the more promising our future will be. Whether you are a farmer, researcher, scientist, policy developer, administrator or agronomist, everyone is a part of the supply chain to create the food we love and the clothes we wear.
