I am an award-winning winemaker, entrepreneur, and regional champion who has carved a successful business in a widely competitive arena dominated by major retailers, learning the hard way that success has multiple pathways. Crucially, my journey has proven that you don’t have to compromise what’s important to you personally to do business on your terms.
My multifaceted experience working with some of Australia’s most prestigious wine companies in conjunction with my consulting business and development of two brands has taught me how to adapt and thrive in the face of change and master business agility by building a business model that has enabled me to navigate the challenges inherent in the agricultural industry, particularly those posed by seasonal and climatic factors.
Through my keynote speaking I will inspire and motivate your audience to use change, hustle with purpose, dance with discomfort and plan for success, though laugh-out-loud stories that are relatable and transferable to your life and business. I am also able to create a bespoke wine experience for your guests if you so wish.
Please allow me to make your next business event a truly memorable one, like this happy client......
“Kate’s story is one of determination, dealing with adversity, establishing a business, the hustle, the hilarity, and of course .. the end product, her wine. We loved having her and the guest feedback
was fantastic. I would recommend Kate if you want an event that’s meaningful, impactful with a dash of ‘down to earth and fun’" - Emma Hogan, NSW Chief Executive Women State Chapter Chair & Group Executive Strategy & Corporate Affairs at Ventia
As Program Coordinator for the Doctors 4 Mudgee Region initiative, I have been focused on turning community frustration into meaningful action. Working collaboratively with local council, industry partners, healthcare professionals and volunteers, I have helped drive a grassroots program that has secured four new doctors in under nine months and restored GP services to towns that had gone without care for over 18 months. Beyond recruitment, my role has centred on storytelling, stakeholder engagement, advocacy and practical support for incoming doctors and their families through a “lifestyle concierge” model. The success of Doctors 4 Mudgee Region demonstrates how empowered communities can lead systemic change, making it a practical and replicable blueprint for other regional towns facing similar healthcare challenges.
